make sure you cop the album! :)

50 Cent x XXL mag.

As one of the game’s most influential artists, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has the honor of holding down not one but two separate covers of XXL’s special year-end double issue. In the December/January cover story, the G-Unit CEO breaks bread with XXL to talk about his new album Before I Self Destruct, his big year on the Web with his site thisis50.com, his role in hip-hop and much more. Also included is a 10-year anniversary tribute to the making of the record that first brought 50 to the public, “How to Rob.”

Clipse "Till The Casket Drops" Listening Session Photos.

This past friday I attended the Clipse live listening session of thier upcoming album "Till the Casket Drops" @ ATC on South Beach. I had the chance to chill with them, snap some flicks & get a video drop for the blog which is coming soon! :) But for everyones information, the new album is sick! The beats are ill & the features are from Camron, Keri Hilson, Pharrell, & more! This is a comeback for the Clipse which I have been a fan of since "Lord Willin" So keep an eye out for "Till the Casket Drops"! check out the pics.

shouts to ATC for holding down the event & free drinks! :)

Embedded x Common, Lykke Li, & Bloc Party

Common takes us cross-country for a whirlwind promotional tour. We're Embedded with him at morning radio shows, record store signings and on stage. Then we head to his old neighborhood in Chicago where he explains how Barack Obama has raised the bar for all of hip-hop. Along the way, Mos Def, Pharrell, and Will.i.am testify as to why Common is one of the greatest in the game.

Plus, Swedish phenom Lykke Li storms San Francisco thrift shops to find an outfit for her show, and Bloc Party performs "This Modern Love" acoustic on a sidewalk in Paris.

* as my faithful readers know, I love this show!
